An interesting point of discussion was how the emerging tech jobs such as Youtuber or Instagrammer was not included in the curriculum of “conventional” educational institution, but rather the street smart generation are doing good with professional works in such areas as e-commerce traders, net celebrities etc.

This was the 2nd time we shared on the topic “ABCD That Is Changing The World”. The first of such sharing was made in Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus.

As Artificial Intelligent is the main topic of discussion today, A Century of Technology Innovation is one of the key points to let the audience see a bigger picture of where are we heading, so that our future technopreneurs can decide where they want to go and find their own sweet spots in the process.

During the Q&A session, the student asked about how Malaysia can capitalize on this Blockchain technology. We suggested a few:

1. Halal Industry
2. Autonomous Cars
3. Nation State Backed Crypto Exchange

On the supply chain part, it’s about leveraging the transparency, traceability and trust elements that comes with the blockchain technology. The crypto economy part of it is about the creation and mobilization of new form of capitals.

After 10 years, I came back to my Alma Mater. My talk on blockchain technology at the biggest University in Malaysia. They have 200, 000 active students every year with 13 campuses and 25 satellite campuses. My tech speech on the topic of ‘ABCD that is changing the world!’ to 200 students and the academicians from Information Management Faculty. So excited to meet the potential young Technopreneurs of the future. We will have long term collaboration after this on blockchain technology training and R&D.
