It was an honor to be invited as one of the speaker in Malaysia Internet Business Summit 2018, organized by Internet Alliance.
We made a little bit introduction about Crypto Valley Malaysia, clearing the air of misunderstanding the word crypto.
We also take the chance to mention a bit about the reason we setup Crypto Valley Association Malaysia.
Before going further into the topic of the session, an introduction to the whole technology movement is a must. That is, a century of technology innovation, by briefing into these questions:

Internet Alliance is a non-profit association set up in 2010 to represent the country’s major pool of Internet service and ‘middleware’ infrastructure providers – ranging web hosting companies, data centres, payment gateway and Cloud providers, web platform enablers, and eCommerce solutions provider.
IA serves as an effective networking platform for its entrepreneur-spirited members to educate and empower each other within a conducive ecosystem in order to share valuable learning and expertise amongst Internet leaders.

Empowering the spirit of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation
MaGIC was first announced in October 2013 during the 4th Global Entrepreneurship Summit held in Kuala Lumpur. Cyberjaya plays home to the Centre as it is progressively becoming the preferred location for the technology-driven startup community.
On April 27th 2014, MaGIC was launched by President Barack Obama and Malaysia’s 6th Prime Minister with 7000 aspiring entrepreneurs in attendance. As part of the launch, MaGIC signed memorandum of understandings with Stanford University and UP Global to further foster and develop a vibrant startup ecosystem in Malaysia and beyond.
