Closed the sharing session with a group of international student at Geomatica University College on 15th Feb 2019 with above statement, as the last question was related to cryptocurrency investment.

The sharing session was started with an opening speech by Prof Dr Azahari bin Jamaludin, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic & Industrial from Geomatika University College.

Fazliq Iirfan shared about the history of Cryptography and why it is important in the digital world.

Effendy Zulkifly, representing Blockchain Academy Asia, shared his view and past experience in the blockchain space.

We get some creative and interesting questions throughout the sharing, it was an interactive session and we look forward the bright future of these students as they work their best towards building a better world.

This was the 2nd time we shared on the topic “ABCD That Is Changing The World”. The first of such sharing was made in Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus.

As Artificial Intelligent is the main topic of discussion today, A Century of Technology Innovation is one of the key points to let the audience see a bigger picture of where are we heading, so that our future technopreneurs can decide where they want to go and find their own sweet spots in the process.

During the Q&A session, the student asked about how Malaysia can capitalize on this Blockchain technology. We suggested a few:

1. Halal Industry
2. Autonomous Cars
3. Nation State Backed Crypto Exchange

On the supply chain part, it’s about leveraging the transparency, traceability and trust elements that comes with the blockchain technology. The crypto economy part of it is about the creation and mobilization of new form of capitals.

After 10 years, I came back to my Alma Mater. My talk on blockchain technology at the biggest University in Malaysia. They have 200, 000 active students every year with 13 campuses and 25 satellite campuses. My tech speech on the topic of ‘ABCD that is changing the world!’ to 200 students and the academicians from Information Management Faculty. So excited to meet the potential young Technopreneurs of the future. We will have long term collaboration after this on blockchain technology training and R&D.

Mr. Iirfan, CTO of SMOOA shared with the students on the technical side of cryptography and some info on tokenomics.

Lunch break with no time wasted. Quite some discussions on training content and brainstormings.

Mr. Taka Hashimoto from Japan shared his crypto and blockchain journey after the lunch break.

It is important to have international exposure as Blockchain is a global phenomena, and Japan is doing good when it comes to crypto economy related progress.

Saiful, who purposely flew from Langkawi grab the chance to receive his previous training cert from CTO Iirfan. It was Blockchain Academy Asia’s first training on 28th July 2018.

We will be exploring the Borneo market very soon.
