Bitcoin in Islamic Finance

Is there a future for Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in Islamic Finance?

The answer might be a simple yes or no, but the responsibilities to that yes or no is big.

The relevancy of Islamic Finance in the context of fintech and the crypto world is all about TRANSPARENCY & TRACEABILITY.

Malaysia is the country to watch for the next decade.

This is the future.
This is the way forward.
This could be bigger than what we anticipated.

Is Islamic Finance Relevant?

A forum on Islamic Finance was held at UTM Jalan Yahya Petra’s campus on 4th August 2018. Prominent figures in Islamic Finance shared and provided detailed understanding on current issues and perspectives on Islamic Finance particularly on cryptocurrency, covering topics on risks, financial impact, compliance and many more.

This is the second certificate I got from UTM. The first was a Bachelor of Degree in Computer Engineering from UTM Skudai campus, though this time is only a certificate of attendance.

We had prominent figures in Islamic Finance as the panelist for the forum – Dr Ismail bin Abd Rahman (senior lecturer and corporate trainer in Islamic Finance), Haji Ramli (resident expert of IBFIM), and Datuk Dr Mohd Daud Bakar (Islamic Finance expert & Shariah advisor)

Attended the event with Crypto Valley Malaysia‘s colleagues.

It was a full house event.
